Suge Knight's defense is now claiming that the rap mogul is blind in his left eye and he couldn't see in the fatal hit-and-run incident that happened back in January.

"How can he go left if he can’t see?” said Suge's new lawyer, Matthew Fletcher, to New York Daily News. “This was a literal presentation of being blindsided. He was attacked on his blind side. To me it seems obvious. He’s being punched in the face, he can’t see.”

Suge Knight fired his previous attorney David Kenner last week before he was taken to the hospital. He was taken to the hospital because he was reportedly suffering from blindness and other health complications stemming from his issues related to the six bullets he took in a nightclub shooting last summer. That was his third visit to the hospital since he's been on trial for the hit-and-run incident.

The graphic security video of the hit-and-run that left Terry Carter, 55, dead and Cle “Bone” Sloan, 51, injured on Jan. 29 went public two days ago (March 9). The video shows Suge’s red truck pulling up into Tam’s Burgers in Compton where he appears to be approach by Sloan and several others. Moments later, Knight is seen reversing over Bone, before putting the car into drive and running over both Bone again and Carter.

Suge says the video answers critical questions that he was ambushed by Sloan with a gun and others. Fletcher told TMZ, that Sloan and Carter had a gun on them. Fletcher further elaborated that the former Death Row Records CEO had the legal right to stand his ground and ultimately do in Mr. Carter since he was involved in the ambush. Sloan's manager however claims that his client did not have a gun on him rather that he had a walkie-talkie. Supposedly this isn't Suge's first time running someone over.
