Almost a year ago to the day, Katt Williams and Suge Knight were arrested and charged with robbery for allegedly stealing a camera from a female paprazzo outside of a studio in Beverly Hills. On Tuesday, Oct. 27, the two were back in court and pleaded not guilty to robbery charges after a judge determined that the two should stand trial for the incident. According to court reports from the Associated Press, Knight's lawyer denies that the oft-troubled Knight was involved in the taking of the photographer's camera and told the judge, "The only evidence that exists is he didn't want his son photographed. Any father would have acted as [Knight] did." The next hearing for the robbery case is scheduled for Nov. 30 and no trial date has been set.

During his Oct. 13 court appearance, Knight's lawyer, Thomas Mesereau, said that the threats made towards the photographer were made so she would not take photos of the controversial figure's son. While in the courtroom, Knight held up a "Happy Birthday" message for his son to the cameras. The no-nonsense judge said, "If he does it again, I will shackle his hands to a chair."

Along with the robbery case, Suge is also being held on $10 million bail in a murder case. Knight was charged with murder, attempted murder and hit-and-run after he ran over and killed Terry Carter in the parking lot of a Compton hamburger stand. The Death Row Records co-founder also hit and injured another man named Cle "Bones" Sloan who has refused to identify Knight as the driver of the truck that struck the men. Knight and his lawyers have maintained that he was evading attackers when he struck the two men. He has pleaded not guilty and will stand trial. No trial date has been set but he is due back in court on Dec. 11 to get an update on the case.
