Stormzy has become one of the most in-demand U.K. rappers around, and 2018 is already supporting that fact. Jorja Smith tapped Stormzy as the guest feature for her new single, "Let Me Down," on which she expresses her heartbreak after a painful moment in a relationship.

While the 20-year-old singer delivers vocals reflecting the pain of feeling insignificant to her significant other, Stormzy takes on the role of her lover in question. The hitmaker spits some powerful rhymes on his verse, where he essentially tells Smith to toughen up on her emotions.

"You've got me, I'm pondering that/Said, 'I'll be back in a sec, I need to reflect,'" Stormzy raps. "But you swear it's been longer than that/Time is golden, time is thin/But time is rare, so we squander and that/I feel your pain when I hear your voice/So fix your tone, man, you're stronger than that."

Stormzy is already welcoming in 2018 on a high note after winning big at the 2017 MOBO Awards this past December.

Jorja Smith has been making a killing in her music career overseas, but she also made headlines last year in the U.S. for sparking dating rumors with Drake. After lending her vocals to "Get It Together" and "Jorja Interlude" on his More Life album, there was speculation that the two were seeing each other, however, it looks like the talk has since fizzled out.
