Rapper Soldier Kidd, who was accused of killing XXXTentacion last June, is denying any involvement in the YNW Melly double homicide case after someone submitted a tip that named him as a potential suspect.

On Friday (March 22), the young rapper jumped onto his Instagram page to make it very clear that he had nothing to do with the shooting deaths of Melly's two friends. In the video, Kidd questions the people saying he had something to do with the Melly case, which revolves around the Miramar Fla.'s police department's claims that YNW Melly and his friend Cortlen Henry orchestrated the murder of their two friends last October.

In the Instagram post, Soldier Kidd shows a Broward County Crime Stoppers tip sheet, which mentions that a caller named him as a suspect.

"Now they dragging my mama into another situation, talking about, 'Oh I had something do with the Melly case,' 'I had something to do with the drive-by shooting.' How is it do you people find a way to mix me in these allegations and keep accusing me of killing people, bruh?" Soldier Kidd asks rhetorically.

“I’m 18 years old working hard...and they keep destroying my name, bruh,” he continues. "They really did think I have something do with the Melly case and I don’t even know the dude, bruh.”

Melly is being accused of murdering his friends 21-year-old Sakchaser (born Anthony Williams) and 19-year-old YNW Juvy (Christopher Thomas Jr.) and making the shooting appear as a drive-by on Oct. 26, 2018. He's currently behind bars after being indicted for two counts of first-degree murder. Henry has been indicted on the same murder charges, as well as two counts of accessory after the fact.

In an interesting note, the tip sheet also proclaims YNW Melly's innocence.

"The caller wanted to report three suspects involved in a drive-by shooting Victims is Christopher and Anthony (Unknown last names). Miramar police is asking for information," reads one part of the tip sheet. "The suspects were bragging about the shooting. Rapper, Jamell Demon is currently charged with the murder. The rapper is actually friends with the victims and knew them since childhood. However, the rapper was wrongfully incriminated for the murder. The victims killed the friends of the suspects and the victims were shot in retaliation to that shooting."

As we alluded to above, Soldier Kidd was one person people pointed to as a potential XXXTentacion murder suspect when the rapper was shot and killed in an apparent robbery on June 18, 2018. While social media users pointed to him as a suspect, Florida men Dedrick D. Williams, Trayvon Newsome, Robert Allen and Michael Boatwright were eventually indicted for the killing, which took place outside of a Riva Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Fla.
