A new weekend of sneaker releases is finally here. With coveted drops from the biggest brands in footwear dropping these next two days, sneakerheads will have plenty of options to chose from this weekend. Leading the way with coveted drops are Jordan Brand, Nike and adidas with some dope low cut styles and technically advanced shoes.

Releasing between today (Jan. 12) and tomorrow (Jan. 13), XXL's top five sneaker picks this weekend include—the latest version the Nike Hyperadpat 1.0 shoe, the new Air Jordan 1 Flyknit iteration in shadow gray, the debut shoe of NBA superstar Russell Westbrook with the Jordan Brand Why Not Zero.1, the new adidas EQT model themed after the Chinese New Year and the adidas Originals superstar low.

Stand out releases from this weekend come from Jordan Brand with the launch of the Air Jordan 1 Retro in a black and gray upper. Replacing the signature leather canvas of the Air Jordan 1, the new model of the AJ1 silhouette is the most comfortable and lightest Retro sneaker to date from the Air Jordan archives. Another release worth highlighting this weekend will be the new colorway of the self-lacing Nike sneaker, the Hyperadpat 1.0. Launching in red with hits of black splashed on the canvas, the sneaker features LED lights on the heel.

With all of XXL's weekend sneaker picks ranging between $100 and $200, look for these kicks to be available at select footwear retailers and boutiques. Check out all five sneaker selections in the gallery below.
