Miami rapper Smokepurpp is blowing up in a big way. After gaining online fame with viral SoundCloud songs like "Ski Mask" and "WOKHARDT," Lil Purpp signed a deal with Todd Moscowitz's new label Alamo Records under Interscope, and now he's preparing to release his highly-anticipated DEADSTAR mixtape.

Today, XXL is proud to premiere Purpp's newest song "Different Color Molly" off the tape. Listen to the woozy song, produced by Slight, below.

"I made this song in Florida after finishing a run of shows, and I wanted to make something melodic," Purpp tells us about making the track. "Slight sent me the beat, and a hour before the session was over, I cranked out the record. [Lil] Pump was in the studio too. We were both rolling off five mollies. Straight jiggaz."

Fans have been waiting patiently for DEADSTAR, and after trolling fans with four fake covers that were spin-offs of albums like Finally Rich and Barter 6, Purpp tells us about what to expect: "The sound of the project can be described as an overdose. It's the sound of euphoria and things that race through your body before you die. This is the sound of the moment when your heart stops and there are those last moments of brain activity."

Listen to "Different Color Molly" below and peep our new interview with Purpp if you haven't already read it.
