South Florida's Smokepurpp is one of the hottest new artists in hip-hop right now. With big tracks like "Ski Mask," which has over six million streams on Soundcloud, "No Smoke," "6 Rings," "She Say" and "Wokhardt," Smoke has built a solid fanbase that strongly supports.

After inking a deal last week with music executive Todd Moscowitz's new label Alamo Records, a venture with Universal Music Group, Smokepurpp celebrates new beginnings with his new track "Woah," which is produced by TM88 and Southside. The record is off of Smoke's upcoming new mixtape, DEADSTAR. The fast-paced banger finds the rapper floating over loud bass and hypnotic production.

"Lil purpp bless your trap, lil purpp bless your trap/Poppin' percs, poppin' molly, poppin' xans/We just rolled up, we just almost killed your mans/Had a goofy nigga tweakin' off the xans," he raps.

"On this project, I tried a lot of new different things and sounds," Smokepurrp said in a recent interview. "DEADSTAR has no boundaries. I tried touching any sound I can touch, and I really don't care how people feel about it cause I myself feel like I am the tape. The tape is really me."
