Lil Uzi Vert links up with a DMV representer. Earlier this week (Dec. 24), the 2016 XXL Freshman teamed up with Maryland rapper Shabazz PBG for "Shells," a new song and video filled with plenty of energy.

In the clip, directed by Creative Ryan, the two rappers deliver tough bars with their neighboring crews backing them up. Shabazz PBG is especially abrasive as he spits his gun-toting lyrics to the camera.

"Glock 27, got it custom with the rail/Niggas playin', I'ma deal wit ‘em/AR with a hunnid, I'ma still get 'em/Walk a nigga down on that wild shit/Bro got molly, sand tan, brown shit,” raps Shabazz.

Meanwhile, Lil Uzi Vert also drops off some hard-body bars as he dances for the camera. In an interesting note, Uzi seemingly hints that he's trying to get out of his record deal.

"Tryna figure out how I'm gonna get out my deal/I'm a bad boy, a reverend, I feel like I'm Mase/Your bitch with me but she got to leave by eight," he spits.

We don't know what all of that means, but let's hope that it doesn't slow down the release of his next project Eternal Atake. The "New Patek" rapper said that the album is done and he plans on dropping it real soon.

"I know y'all wonder when I'm gonna drop my album," he told fans at his holiday concert in Philly earlier this month. "I'm finally done with that joint, I'ma drop that joint."

In the meantime, check out Shabazz PBG and Lil Uzi Vert delivering lyrical "Shells" in their new video below.
