Jay Z's life story has been told countless times, but never like this. On this past weekend's edition of Saturday Night Live, viewers were not only treated to an awesome performance from D'Angelo but also a hilarious skit as cast member Mike O'Brien played Jay Z in a cheap biopic spoof. The four-minute clip pokes fun at cultural appropriation, Hollywood's habit of casting white actors in lead roles, and portrays major moments in Jay Z's life and career in a corny matter.

Along with O'Brien, actor Jason Sudekis stars as Kanye West and Oscar-nominated actor J.K. Simmons as Nas. The best part comes at the end when Jay Pharoah pops up to do his Hov impression and suggests how "Empire State Of Mind" should sound. O'Brien (playing Jay Z, mind you) puts the brakes on the idea and calls the sound, "weird." Check out the clip above for a laugh; "it's raw, it's gritty, it's 100% accurate."

Hard to believe that SNL is turning 40 this month and to celebrate, NBC is airing a massive three-hour show that will feature a star-studded cast and reunion of past cast members, hosts and musical guests. Amongst the loaded guest list, two names in particular stick out: Kanye West and Paul McCartney. Considering that they have been putting out music and in the studio, this may be the perfect opportunity for them to take the stage and perform together for the first time.

The show airs Feb. 15 at 8 P.M. EST. Check out the full list of celebrities scheduled to appear below:
