Run The Jewels, a hip-hop duo made up of El-P and Killer Mike, had an amazing year in 2014. Not only did they have one of the most glorified and talked about hip-hop albums on 2014 with Run The Jewels 2, but the support and curiosity of a possible cat-themed album prompted the two to begin working on the highly awaited spinoff to the album, Meow The Jewels. They can add another accomplishment their career. Run The Jewels has been asked to open for Jack White.

Jack White, who's most commonly known as being the frontman for The White Stripes, is headed to Madison Square Garden on Jan. 30. Earlier today on Twitter, Third Man Records announced Run The Jewels will be opening for Jack White and El-P exuded with excitement at the idea.
