Native New Yorker Ro Ransom is a bright young MC who's the son of musicians, with his father playing drums for Whitney Houston. He recently released his newest single titled "Doppelgänger," which finds the rapper/singer/songwriter crooning about love and how he was hurt by his ex. "Doppelgänger," which is produced by Sweater Beats and Brenton Duvall, blends in a multitude of sounds and shows off Ro's versatility as an artists. The atmospheric theme to the record only adds to the Ro's voice and lyrics. At the end of the song, Ro realizes what went wrong, but is unable to end the cycle of dating his “evil twin.”

“Love is complicated," Ro Ransom explains. "Loss of love is equally as complicated, and quite nuanced. Not everybody has the ability to look directly into the broken mirror. Especially when mauve is involved.”

"Doppelgänger” is the follow up to "Donuts" and “See Me Fall,” which both features Kensei Abbot.
