Since 2005, Rihanna has morphed into a superstar. With a string of number one singles, her impeccable resume has Hall of Famer written all over it. Now, the Pop songstress is pulling a LeBron and is leaving Def Jam Records by taking her talents over to Jay Z's Roc Nation.

Her move comes as shocking news to many in the industry. This certainly bolsters Jay Z's label, which already has J.Cole and Jay Electronica, Calvin Harris, Rita Ora, and DJ Mustard. For the past couple of weeks, Roc Nation has gradually been updating her profile page specifying that she's not only signed under a management deal with the label, but is now an official artist. In addition to that, Def Jam placed Riri under their legacy section suggesting that her departure is set in stone. It's only right that she returns back to the man who signed her. Only time will tell if we'll know her first official release under Roc Nation.
