After shaking the block with “Some Type of Way” and popping up at this year’s Rose Bowl with the Michigan State Spartans, Rich Homie Quan has been riding high. Already declaring that he and Young Thug are the “hardest duo since OutKast”, Quan is now saving his bread to get a feature from Jay Z on his debut album.

“To make my album, I got to have the Jay Z on there. That’s what I’m saving my money for,” Quan told HipHopHoustonFix prior to a show in H-Town. “That’s why I gotta do this show for Houston, so I can send Jay that check he want to get on the album.”
