As always happens around this time, there are a few artists who feel some type of way about being left off of MTV’s 10 Hottest MCs In The Game, list. Kanye West has already expressed his displeasure about his rank on the 2013 edition. Now Pusha T has spoken up about his absence from the list all together. The Virginia rapper recently chopped it up with DJ Semtex where discussed the list and even took some time to throw a few shots toward, YMCMB. “I think I've had a stellar year. When you look at what I did this year, I did some incredible things," he said. "There's not a record bigger than 'Mercy' - what, 25 weeks at number one? Twenty-five weeks at number one, and I was on that. The 'Don't Like' record? That was definitely a club favorite…'New God Flow,' that probably might be the Hip Hop record of the year."

Pusha also said he thinks he deserves more kudos for going head on with Lil Wayne’s crew on more than one occasion. "Let's just look at what I did to people out here: I blacked out on a whole crew [YMCMB] all year,” he said. “Nobody stood next to me and blacked out with me; I blacked out on a whole crew by myself. Like, I don't belong on no list? And I'm talking about everybody, I blacked out on peoples' favorites…I had emcees denouncing their fan base, denouncing their fan base and coming back with records talking about, 'As long as my chicks love me.' I did that…I don't belong on no list? It's cool, I've just got to work harder."

There’s always next year. Push can start off his 2013 ‘Hottest MC’ list campaign strong when he drops his debut solo LP, My Name is My Name, later on this year.
