Rick Gonzalez, the Brooklyn native (by way of California), who has appeared on blockbusters (War of the Worlds), comedies (Old School), and sports dramas (Coach Carter), now expects to unveil another chapter to his artistic legacy.

Under the name Real Reality, Gonzalez announced today via MTV News that he has joined forces with Mobb Deep's Prodigy as a member of the QB rapper's Sony Red-distributed Infamous Records. The decision to take upon rapping and aligning himself with the HNIC veteran took years in the making, as Gonzalez showcased rap ambitions since his adolescent years growing up in the BK borough.

After releasing a mixtape in 2011 called The Invisible Man, Gonzalez has decided to take upon the next step with rap, which caught P's attention. His new project In the Grind We Trust, which features a list of guest appearances such as Joell Ortiz and Blu, in addition to production from Nottz, expects to solidify Realm's authenticity as a well-suited MC.

The project, which includes all original tracks, doesn't have a set release date as of press time, but is expected to drop in the upcoming months. Check out the full story via MTV.com. —Jaeki Cho (@JaekiCho)
