While fans await Pouya's next project, it looks like he may tide them over with a new collaboration. The Miami rapper teams up with J.I.D in the studio, where they work on some new music together that brings out both of their inner lyricists.

Posting a video of the song's preview to Instagram, Pouya reveals that the song is a joint track with the Atlanta entertainer, but doesn't give details on the title, or who produces it. In the preview, J.I.D delivers some braggadocios bars while addressing his enemies and haters.

"I'm that young killer, but realer than most rappers/Running from the enemies that wanna toe-tag us," the rapper rhymes. "Catch us while you can/pack 'em back and turn us into Pakistan."

Pouya revealed to XXL back in August that he was working on his next project, as well as an upcoming collaboration with $uicideboy$. There's no word on when we can expect his new project, but for now, there doesn't seem to be any guest features on it. Just last week, the Southern spitter released his new song for fans called "Handshakes," which gives them another taste of what they can expect this year.

Take a listen to a preview of Pouya and J.I.D's upcoming collaboration in the video below.
