Playboi Carti and Lil Uzi Vert define the term SoundCloud Rap. Both got heavily popular on the online music streaming platform (Uzi even tweeted about how much he missed having solely Soundcloud as a platform to release music on last week), and both are good friends. Every time they collab, they make fire, and over the weekend, Carti teased a joint mixtape they might have coming soon.

In a Snapchat post from over the weekend, Carti posted a picture of Captain Sensible and Dave Vanian from London punk band The Damned. The caption for the picture reads, "Carti Uzi Tape * Uzi Carti Tape * 16.29." The four digits at the end signify Carti and Uzi's respective blocks—Uzi's from the 1600 block of his hometown Philly while Carti reps 2900 blocks in Atlanta.

Many on social media are taking the Snapchat post as confirmation that Uzi and Carti are working on a tape together, though nothing is official yet. Just the other day, Uzi also teased Lil Uzi Vert vs. The World 2 as well, so fans might have a lot of new music to look forward to.

Uzi is fresh off dropping his official debut album Luv Is Rage 2, which went No. 1 first week, selling 135,000 units. Carti dropped his fantastic self-titled debut project earlier this year.
