Last night at the Uniqlo flagship store in NYC, the Japanese retailer celebrated the release of their most recent collab with the musical genius and TIME influencer Pharrell Williams. The collection, titled after Pharrell's YouTube channel, "i am other," includes several graphic tees and hats.

Some big names in the fashion industry and well-known socialites attended the private event held on the second floor of the Uniqlo Fifth Avenue location. The "Happy" artist made his presence felt by surprising those in attendance and thanking them for the support on his most recent collab. When asked the reason behind collaborating with the Japanese retailer, Pharrel responded, "I love the simplicity of Uniqlo and the quality of their product." Pharrell was accompanied to the event by his longtime friend and business partner A Bathing Ape founder NIGO, who is now the director of Uniqlo's UT brand. The mastermind behind the "i am other" channel only stayed for about half an hour, but the event continued on with elite members of the fashion world like Vashtie, Dee & Ricky, Andre Leon Talley.

The collaboration is now available for the general public to purchase online at the Uniqlo website and their retail stores.
