Pharrell Apologizes For Wearing Native American Headdress On ‘Elle UK’ Cover
Pharrell is apologizing for his choice of headgear on the recent Elle UK cover. After finding himself in hot water for donning a Native American headdress the singer/producer has issued a statement.
"I respect and honor every kind of race, background and culture. I am genuinely sorry," said Pharrell.
The release of the photograph created a lot of controversy over the sacred head piece worn by Native American chiefs and warriors resulting in the Twitter hashtag “#NotHappy” in reference to smash hit.
