O.T. Genasis goes Mad Max. On Friday (June 15), the Chilean rapper unloaded a new song and video by the name of "Cash on It," a hard-hitting new track that could join his stable of solid singles.

The new visual for the track finds O.T. cruising on a four-wheeler as he rides through a desert. With a pouch of ammunition strapped across his chest and scantily clad desert bandits at his side, the rapper, whose hit single, "Everybody Mad" got a nod from Beyonce a couple months back, does a pretty good job of creating some Mad Max-esque imagery.

For those that didn't watch the 1979 classic, Mad Max is a dystopian action movie that served as a breakout role for then-acting newcomer, Mel Gibson. In the film, Gibson plays the eponymous Max, who becomes a desert drifter after exacting revenge on the bandits who murdered his family. Pretty intense stuff.

By (seemingly) referencing Mad Max in his new video, O.T. follows in the footsteps of Tupac Shakur and Dr. Dre, two West Coast icons who gave a nod to the movie when they dropped their "California Love" video nearly 23 years ago. Trippie Redd also appeared to reference Mad Max when he dropped off his "Dead Man's Wonderland" video back in April.

Getting back to O.T., "Cash on It" definitely isn't a tune to be slept on. With its constellation of soft piano, ominous bells, thumping 808s and the rapper's casual boasts, it's definitely a slapper.
