Nipsey Hussle's fans are finally getting the news they've been waiting for regarding his new album, which has been teased since 2013. Following the announcement of his All Money In label partnering with Atlantic Records, the West Coast rapper unveils the official cover and release date for his Victory Lap album.

The project's artwork features Nipsey sitting in the driver's seat of a black convertible, looking up into the nighttime sky while raising his arm up, displaying some of his tattoos. Victory Lap is slated to drop officially on Feb. 16, 2018, which will coincide with NBA's All Star Weekend.

In addition to revealing the album artwork, the Mailbox Money MC also releases a new song called "Rap Niggas," which is the first official single off of the project. "Traveled round the world, then I came back, nigga/Worth a couple a million, that's a fact, nigga/But I am nothing like you fucking rap niggas/I own all the rights to all my raps, nigga," he delivers over the sinister beat.

The rhymer e also drops off the official video to the new single, which features  flexing in a luxury vehicle, as well as mobbing out in a bulletproof vest with his entourage. The ending of the Sergio-directed clip even shows him cruising through the water on a lavish yacht.

Nipsey makes sure to send his appreciation to his fans in a thank you letter, where he officially announces the new album, as well as what he has planned for the next couple of months leading up to its release.

XXL recently spoke with Nipsey, where he shared some details on the making of the project and its significance.

"For this project, and just for the future projects, I wanted to raise the platform that we deliver our records on," Nispey tells XXL. "I always wanted to operate at the highest altitude, just in terms of hip-hop and the music. But I felt like the way we went about it and the terms that we came to were really important. And if we had to just stay outside of the system a little bit longer to get the terms that we feel we deserve, we was going to do that."
