Nicki Minaj Wants to Get on Lil Uzi Vert’s “The Way Life Goes”

So it's safe to say Nicki Minaj is feeling that new Lil Uzi Vert. On Tuesday (Aug. 29), the Young Money artist uploaded a video of herself jamming to Uzi's sentimental Luv Is Rage 2 cut, "The Way Life Goes," and revealed that she wants on the song.

"Ummm Uzi better make this a single, send me the beat, and quit playin," wrote Nicki in the caption, alluding to her wish to hop on a remix to the song.

In the video, we see Nicki mouthing the words to the pre-hook portion of the track. "But I like that girl too much, I wish I never met her/Hello I was listening to this song/It goes like," Uzi spits during the portion of the track Nicki's playing.

This shout out/request from Nicki is just the latest sign that Uzi's seriously been glowing up. Recently, it was reported that the 2016 XXL Freshman's newly released Luv Is Rage 2 is projected to move 110-120,000 equivalent album units in its first week of release. If it does keep up that pace, it could very well land at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 200 chart. His hit single "XO Tour Llif3″ was certified triple platinum back in July.

There's no way of knowing which single Uzi will release next, but maybe Nicki's onto something and he'll take her up on her request. We'll see.
