Casey Veggies, Verbs and Reverie kicked off Boost Mobile's Where You At? L.A. concert series last week (July 13) with a blend of lively interviews and energetic performances.

Hosted by West Coast rap legend Murs, the event featured a laid-back atmosphere that saw artists explain bits and pieces of their craft. Casey Veggies touched upon his role in the 2015 film Dope and his friendship with Murs before going on to give kids a lesson in the importance of leasing vehicles versus purchasing them.

Next up was Reverie. Murs already had an existing friendship with Reverie, which made the interview more upfront and personal, and then she took the stage at the Where You At? L.A. show. During his discussion with Reverie, Murs learned even more about the rising rapper. The funniest bit from the relaxed interview came when Reverie explained a fight she'd gotten into years before.

Shortly after their chat, Reverie began performing "94 Degrees Fahrenheit." Over the course of the four-minute song, she proved why she belonged on stage with her surprisingly smooth singing voice and introspective lyrics.

Verbs also graced the Boost Mobile stage, showing off his trademark ability as a lyricist. Interestingly enough, he and Murs collaborated on a song called "The Lick" back in 2010.

While Casey Veggies, Reverie and Verbs were definitely the highlights of the night, an appearance from the effortlessly charismatic Dame Dash proved to be just as entertaining. During the interview, Dame touched on his filmmaking endeavors and his idea of proper business practices.

The first concert in the Where You At? L.A. series proved to be a unique experience for all who attended on site and online via live tapings on Facebook Live and Periscope. The next concert session in the series will take place on July 27, 2016. You can find more information on the event here. Keep it locked to XXL for more details.
