Stream Meek Mill’s New Album

Since his release from prison at the beginning of last December, Meek Mill has led a charmed life. The animated Philadelphia rapper (who had been serving a three-to-six month bid for violating his parole) has dropped a series of well-received songs, further cemented himself among the major-label rap elite, and entered into a serious relationship with Nicki Minaj, a woman he was pining for on Twitter as far back as 2011. As of today (June 29), Meek's long-awaited sophomore album, Dreams Worth More Than Money, is available to stream. The LP features guest turns from a litany of high-profile artists, including Minaj, Drake, Chris Brown, Future and Meek's Maybach Music Group boss, Rick Ross, among others. (While Meek might be the biggest star signed to his label, Ross will have his hands tied in the promotional run, as he is currently dealing with a Georgia arrest for kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery.)

Mill's first album, Dreams and Nightmares, was issued in October of 2012 to measured reactions from critics and fans. Though an obviously talented writer and vocalist--and a proven star on the battle and mixtape circuits--some of the album's commercial concessions failed to land. Still, Dreams and Nightmares debuted at #2 on the Billboard charts, selling nearly 150,00 copies in its first week. That record's intro track has since become one of Mill's best-known cuts, with its anthemic production from The Beat Bully and unraveling string of threats and boasts. The album was succeeded by a mixtape, Dreamchasers 3, the following year.
