Chris Brown and Trey Songz sent the music world into a frenzy on Monday (Nov. 10) after officially announcing their Between The Sheets Tour.

Breezy and Trigga both arrived at The House of Blues in Los Angeles to deliver the news. The event was filled with media outlets and die hard fans. Actor and television personality Terrence J gave the R&B stars a warm introduction before they hit the stage to perform their remix of iLoveMakonnen's "Tuesday."

After the performance, Brown and Songz sat down with J to further discuss the tour. They announced that it would kick off on Jan. 30 in VA, the state in which they're both natives of. When asked how the tour came about, Brown explained that it stemmed from their friendship.

"He knows my songs and I know his songs," said Brown. "We feed off of each other's energy."

Songz spoke on the importance of their friendship and discussed how they've been friends since the beginning of his career. He even defended Brown and all the negative media attention he's been receiving.

"He's probably the most heavily scrutinized artist," said Songz. "Everyone makes mistakes."

Brown and Songz first surprised fans with the tour in August when Brown announced it on Twitter. The two even went back and forth discussing it by posting videos on Instagram. The R&B stars also recently released the TRGA x BRZY mixtape which included remix collaborations on songs like Schoolboy Q’s “Studio” and TeeFlii’s “24 Hours.” They do plan on performing new songs off their mixtape in addition to their classics.

Tickets for the Between The Sheets Tour will be available for purchase as early as Nov. 12.—Ke'Andrea Ayers
