Nicki Minaj Was Honored To Perform With Beyonce During The On The Run Tour

Nicki Minaj was overwhelmed with joy after hitting the stage with Beyonce in Paris this past weekend. The “Anaconda” rapper joined Bey and Jay Z overseas for the tail end of their On The Run Tour to perform  “Flawless (Remix),” expected to air during the On The Run Tour HBO special.

To express how honored she was, Nicki called into French radio station Skyrock FM to share her sentiments.

“It was just very emotional for me to be there because I know it was a big show,” said Nicki. “It was the last bit of shows for Beyoncé and Jay Z, so I was very honored to be a part of it.”

She added,“To me they represent drive and passion, and they represent everything that I would like to be in terms of being an artist and a businesswoman at the same time.”

Nicki has never shied away from her admiration for the couple. Her third album The Pinkprint was even inspired by Jay's The Blueprint.
During her phone call she also opened up about what can be expected from her new project. She said,“It really takes you on a journey. The album is very emotional, it’s very real. I feel the production is really, really great. I think people are gonna like the beats on the album a lot, but it’s just a truthful story. It covers all different bases in my life, as well as genres.”

The Pinkprint is expected to feature an “amazing Young Money collaboration,” said Nicki. The album drops Nov. 24.
