Yesterday (April 7th), Chris Brown’s bodyguard, Christopher Hollosy, confessed to punching a D.C. man outside of the W Hotel last October, according to police Detective Kimberly Metivier, thus eliminating the singer from the altercation.

During the hearing at Washington Superior Court, Metivier testified that Hollosy admittedly yelled and urged officers to arrest him, instead of Chris Brown, for assaulting Parker Adams, the D. C. man who tried to board the singer’s tour bus.

"He was yelling on his own accord that he was the one who did it ... and not to arrest Mr. Brown," said Metivier, adding that Hollosy said, "I punched him -- not Chris."

Claiming his client was not read his Miranda Rights, Hollosy’s attorney, Bernard Grimm, asked for the confession to be suppressed as evidence during the trial. However, Judge Patricia Wynn denied the motion. Wynn decided Hollosy and Brown’s case should be tried separately, an unfavorable choice for the prosecutors.

Brown has refused all plea deals, including one from prosecutors that would force him to plead guilty to simple assault. Reason being? Brown’s lawyer, told reporters the deal was denied because, “Chris Brown’s not guilty.”

The “Loyal” singer was placed in jail last month after being kicked out of a court-ordered rehabilitation facility related to the 2009 domestic violence incident with ex-girlfriend Rihanna, ultimately violating his probation.-Morgan Murrell
