Nicki Minaj And Peter Rosenberg Quash Beef After Last Year’s Summer Jam Incident

Nicki Minaj made her return to Hot 97 for the first time since last year’s fiasco at Summer Jam.

While speaking with Peter Rosenberg and Ebro, she talked about her new movie, The Other Woman, life after American Idol and other topics. Minaj and Rosenberg also give both sides of the story on the famous situation that pulled Minaj as the main event at the last minute.

Rosenberg made comments about her pop song “Starships,” and here he explains the thought process behind it. Minaj says the whole issue is “water under the bridge” and believes she should have done a show for her fans.

“In hindsight I should have just done the show," she said. "I wish I would have come out.”
