A MoneyBagg Yo concert in West Point, Miss. ended in violence when one woman was shot at killed.

The CMG rapper was performing at Bryan Union Hall on Thanksgiving (Nov. 24). The show was going well until shots rang out in the venue shortly before 2:00 a.m., reports WTVA.

"We were just sitting there having a good time. All of a sudden I heard a pop. I thought it was balloons. Come to find out...were shooting guns in the club," one eye-witness described.

When the dust settled, 21-year-old Dayah Shaw had been stuck in the chest. She was transported to nearby Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus where she was pronounced dead a short time later.

Police recovered shell casings from two different weapons at the scene but have yet release a motive or apprehended a suspect. According to Tim Brinkley, West Point Police Chief, “These incidents are particularly challenging for investigators because of the large number of people and the low lighting of the venue that tend to distort the perception of any witnesses.”

MoneyBagg took to social media to offer his condolences to those hurt by the tragedy. "My prayers goes out to the two girls that lost their life tonight at my show the main reason security enforced," he posted on Twitter.

Yo signed to Yo Gotti's CMG roster last month after getting a signing bonus of $200,000 cash. A few days later, Gotti and Yo dropped the mixtape 2 Federal.
