Moneybagg Yo Hits the Red Carpet in “Important” Video
Riding the momentum of his newly released Federal 3X project, Moneybagg Yo drops off a visual for "Important." Peep it below.
Directed by Karltin Banks and Cotton Films, the video for "Important" finds Moneybagg flexing on against what appears to be the backdrop of a phooto shoot as he struts his way down a red carpet. Of course, the rapper is draped in plenty of gold as he makes his way down the blood red cloth and the light of flashing cameras spreads around the room. The Memphis rapper definitely looks the part of someone who's as important as his song says he is.
Moneybag is currently in the process of a serious glow-up, and his Federal 3X project and songs like "Important" are proof of that. If all goes well—which, we're sure it will—Moneybagg will be around for a long time. Speaking with XXL about a month ago, the artist signed to Yo Gotti's CMG imprint described some of his goals for his music career. One of them involves reaching people through his songs.
“I just want everybody to—even when I’m gone—I want people to say, ‘MoneyBagg will get you through your days that’s going bad. He’s going to tell you how this situation is, how that situation is.’ I want to get to people through my music," he said at the time.
