Following an early collaboration and underground hit "Sade," rising Atlanta rapper Hugo Joe and producer MexikoDro are now collaborating for a joint EP titled Hugo Dro, set to drop June 29 via Fool's Gold Records. The duo shares the first single off the project "Tesla", as well as the accompanying visual, featuring buzzing Oakland rap personality Guapdad 4000.

Kicking things off with the levitating bass, “Tesla” is a dripped-out introduction to Atlanta’s next generation of talent. "Real nigga, it ain't on me/'Cause it's in me," Hugo Joe brags over the 808-laced production.

In the accompanying visual, for the first single off their joint effort, we find Hugo Joe flexing alongside the self-proclaimed "scam king" Guapdad4000 in a hazy background as they sit on cars. Their playful rhymes are complemented by the video's cinematic flair as they rhetorically beg the question "How you gon' stop me?"

Joe and Dro also comes through with the new video for "Afghan," which finds him hitting the open air and rocky terrain while kaleidoscopic images are added in. The song for the visual will also appear on the new EP. "I leave that pussy dead, guess I got the reaper on me/If I ain't in your hoe I'm in the studio with Mexiko/You can keep on sleepin', they sleep on me like a Xan," Joe rhymes.

For those unfamiliar with MexikoDro, the young standout is a Drake-approved beat phenom delivering oddly glistening cuts for the likes of Playboi Carti, Yung Bans and the "who’s who" of Atlanta up-and-comers. On the other hand, Hugo Joe is a first generation Nigerian rhymer repping Douglasville, Ga. His haunting, melodic flow has earned him fame throughout his beloved city of Atlanta and rightfully so. The duo combine forces for Hugo Dro cultivating the perfect home for two rap iconoclasts.
