On Tuesday (April 24), Meek Mill was finally released from prison after being sentenced to a two-to-four year sentence. Following his release, Meek did what any true Philadelphia sports fan would do and headed to Game 5 of the NBA Playoffs between the Philadelphia 76ers and the Miami Heat.

Sporting a blue Joel Embiid jersey, Meek took part in the pre-game ceremonies and got some help from comedian Kevin Hart as he struck the center court bell with a hammer. And while Meek didn't actually play in the game, his presence was felt at the Wells Fargo Center, as his music played from the speakers and the 76ers picked up their first playoff series win in six years. "Today was a good day. Like Ice Cube said," Meek said following the game.

During and after the game, the Wins & Losses rapper also snapped a few pics with Sixers players Embiid and Ben Simmons and took more photos with his son Papi, Hart, Lil Dicky, 76ers co-owner Michael Rubin and YouTuber Jake Paul. Just before the start of the 4th quarter, Meek could also be seen sitting courtside with Hart and Philadelphia Eagles owner Jeff Lurie as they danced along to "Dreams and Nightmares."

Following his release from prison, Meek released a lengthy statement thanking everyone for their help and support. "I’d like to thank God, my family, my friends, my attorneys, my team at Roc Nation including Jay Z, Desiree Perez, my good friend Michael Rubin, my fans, The Pennsylvania Supreme Court and all my public advocates for their love, support and encouragement during this difficult time," he wrote.
