Maino got picked up yesterday afternoon (December 1) in Manhattan for driving with a suspended license.

According to the New York Post, the Brooklyn rapper was pulled over in his black Bentley after disobeying a police officer’s instructions on where to drive in a congested area near Rockefeller Center. The Atlantic recording artist was stopped around 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday afternoon and was briefly taken into custody, before being released with a desk appearance ticket.

Maino has a long history of legal troubles. The Hustle Hard rep spent over 10 years behind bars on kidnapping and robbery charges.

Just recently he dropped his new Ne-Yo assisted track “It’s OK,” which has been getting a lot of airplay on NY radio. —Elan Mancini
