'Love & Hip Hop Hollywood' Season 1, Episode 4 Recap

Stealing and scandal continue on the new episode of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. After Max became aware that his wife Brandi betrayed him by using money from their son's trust fund account to invest into a business without telling him, things are looking extremely bad for the couple. He sits down with Ray J at his studio to discuss the situation, but Ray J is also having some doubts about his own relationship.

Lyrica meets with her mother to discuss the issues going on with their family. She shares her concerns about the state of her mother's relationship with A-1's mother. Lyrica has longstanding issues with A-1's mother, but is intent on improving their bond and coming together as a family for the longterm.

Masika confides in gossip blogger Jason Lee about her paternity battle with rapper Fetty Wap, and his desire to meet with her in an attempt to sort out the situation amicably. Both parties seem skeptical of Fetty Wap extending an olive branch, but Masika says she is willing to give him a chance to speak his piece. Her only concern is the well-being of her child.

Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend and collaborator, Safaree, makes his debut on this season of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood. He says he has left Brooklyn and wants to leave the past behind and move onto greater pastures. During an appearance on a Los Angeles radio show, the topic of his ex-girlfriend is broached. He says that their breakup and the media storm behind it almost broke him, but he's looking to move forward with his life and career. When asked if he's single, he makes it clear he's on the market and ready to mingle and enjoy the bachelor lifestyle.

When it comes time for Fetty Wap and Masika to meet, he says that he's come around and realized the errors in his ways; he's ready to be a father to his child. Although Masika is still unsure of what the future holds, she says she's willing to let Fetty Wap back into her life to make things work.

Max has accepted an invite to the strip club, but his fun is interrupted when Brandi comes in to plead her case to him. Brandi says that her intent was to impress Max and show her that she could contribute to the family on her own devices -- a statement that does little to diffuse the situation. Max says that it will never be the same between the two and that he wants to keep separate accounts. When Brandi brings up their son missing his father, Max admits that his child is a priority, but perceives it as her using him as a bargaining chip to reel him back in. All he wants Brandi to do is own up to her mistake. Brandi begins to become hysterical, but her pleas fall on deaf ears.

Safaree is enjoying his time in L.A. and catches up with Nikki Baby, whom he met a few months ago at an event. The two are visibly attracted to each other and begin kissing, but when Safaree brings up the prospect of commitment, she balks and says that while she likes Safaree, he should be content with the time that they spend together. Safaree also gives Nikki a trinket in an effort to show his affection, but she reiterates her intentions to take things slow.

A-1 and Lyrica's mother meet up to work through their differences. When the topic is brought up of A-1's mother overstaying her welcome at A-1's home, things get testy and the two begin to bicker. Lyrica's mother wants A-1's mother to see how her presence in the home could affect all parties, but A-1's mother maintains that she has been respectful. She thinks Lyrica is just full of herself and has to get used to her being a presence in her and A-1's life.

A-1 has been stressed out over the tension between his mother and Lyrica and has taken refuge in the studio to keep his mind off things. He is joined by Ray J and Safaree and explains the beef between the women in his life. He has plans to throw a dinner party in an attempt to work out their differences. A-1 also shows off a new ring he plans to give to Lyrica in an effort to show her and their mothers that their love is real and that the best thing to do would be to come together as a family.

Masika is about to go into labor and deliver her baby, but Fetty Wap, who was in New Jersey when he got word of the news, is nowhere to be found. She's afraid that he won't make it in time to see the birth of their child, but he makes it just in the nick of time and is able to share the moment with her, a gesture that she admits means the world to her.

Teairra Mari is working on a new clothing line and she calls up model Rosa Acosta to help her advertise and showcase her custom threads. But a big secret is revealed when Nikki Baby says that she has become romantically involved with Rosa Acosta, who admits she is now attracted to women more than men. Nikki and Rosa are intimate and seem very fond of each other, but when Rosa asks if Nikki is she's seeing anyone else, Nikki lies and decides not to tell her about Safaree. When she asks if Rosa would be upset if she were dating a man on the side, Rosa says that she would be. Nikki decides to keep her dealings with Safaree a secret until she is sure where she wants to be exclusive.

A-1, Lyrica and their mothers meet up for dinner in an attempt to smooth out their differences, but things quickly take a turn for the worse. Lyrica's mother begins to subtly insult A-1's mother and says that she doesn't view her or A-1 as family -- a statement that makes all hell break loose. The two mothers have to be separated, and both Lyrica and A-1 are distraught over their unwillingness to put their differences to the side for their children. With the possibility of a peace treaty between the two mothers being highly unlikely, there's no telling where this family feud will be headed in the upcoming episodes of Love & Hip Hop Hollywood.
