West Coast collective OverDoz. bring a G Funk vibe on their Terrace Martin and Fred Wreck-produced track, "Why We Never Leave The Ghetto." With intricate production as the back drop, OverDoz. flash the versatility that has fans excited for their upcoming project, 2008. Check out the song above.

For their upcoming album, OverDoz. is working with Organized Noize and Pharrell heavily. The crew rolled through the XXL office in August and spoke on what it's like to work with Organized Noize. "What I liked about Organized Noize, they wasn’t scared to say, 'Sing it like this,'" said Kent Jamz. "I’m not the type for people to really tell that to me. Producers usually let me loose and I can be in the booth for like two hours. Noize would tell me, like, 'Come out real quick, sing it like this.' Then I’ll sing it my way and they’ll tell me, 'Come right back out and sing it like this.' The dude who’s telling me is the same guy who helped make 'Waterfalls' by TLC."
