After almost 10 years on the underground and mixtape scene King Chip finally put out his first studio album CleveLAfornia on Dec. 11 via Rebel Castle/Purple Haze Ent./S.L.A.B. Ent. On the album he resuscitates a song that should be familiar to anyone who has followed the Cleveland MC since his Chip Tha Ripper days, "Fat Raps." The OG version originally aired on the 2009 mixtape The Cleveland Show featuring then little known MCs Curren$y and Big Sean. A follow up remix to the hailed track featured Dom Kennedy and Boldy James. Now Chip puts the cap on the trilogy with the latest edition "Fat Raps 3" with Chuck Inglish, Curren$y, Big Sean and Detroit new comer Earlly Mac.Staying true to the album's theme, the song has a West Coast vibe with the four artists touching the instrumental with their own flow.
