London rapper Jay Prince drops off the sunny single, "AfroPhunk" featuring SiR and Joyce Wrice. Self-produced, the lyrical think piece is the lead single off Prince's upcoming EP, Beautiful Mercy, due out November 20. SiR and Wrice hold down the catchy hook for some lush sonic layering while Jay raps about separating the real from the fake over soulful horns.

"Sit back and really try see and really try be/Speak about peace/Speak about love/Speak about us/The truth, the love the pain, am I insane?"

It's obvious from the track that the 22-year-old puts an emphasis on conceptual rap and plays with the memory of old school R&B. The Soulection signee first made waves earlier this year with his BeFor Our Time project back in January. Jay Prince is currently on tour with Soulection in Europe. Vibe out to "AfroPhunk" and keep an ear out for more from the British import.
