Listen to Dr. Dre Feat. Kurupt and Pete Rock, “Freestyle on Beats 1″

This is pretty crazy. During the latest episode of Dr. Dre's The Pharmacy on Beats 1 Radio, the acclaimed producer dropped a "freestyle" featuring Kurupt and Pete Rock. In reality, this sounds more like two instrumentals that Dr. Dre might've cooked up during the years of Detox studio sessions or perhaps even some Compton leftovers. The beats have a retro feel to them, but the vocals don't sound like they were recorded back in the 90s by any means.

Regardless, this song is notable for Dr. Dre teaming up with the legendary Pete Rock. Just hearing that Dr. Dre and Pete Rock are involved on the same track is a dream scenario for many hip-hop fans. Add Kurupt dropping some slick rhymes to the mix and you've got a gem that any rap aficionado must appreciate. Hopefully an unedited and higher quality version of this song will eventually be released to the public.
