Lil Uzi Vert Will Have a Rock Song on His Debut Album
Lil Uzi Vert's upcoming project LUV is Rage 2 is going to have some different waves, including a rock song.
Uzi unveiled the news on Twitter, revealing that the alternative track would feature his band. "My album is gonna have a debut song from my Rockband®....2," he posted.
The anticipation for the Philly rapper's new project is getting bigger and bigger. Last week, he put out the 1.5 EP, which featured four new tracks, "Boring Shit,” “LUV Scars K.o,” “XO TOUR Llif3″ and “YSL."
In the last few days alone, he's been featured on the new tracks "Can't Lose" with Iggy Azalea, "Go Off" featuring Quavo and Travis Scott from the Fate of the Furious: The Album and in Fabolous' new video for "Goyard Bag."
In February, LUV received an award from SoundCloud for most follows in 2016. Not bad for a mumble rapper.
If you needed anymore proof that Uzi is popping, he's been working with Kanye West on material that could end up on either of their projects. “I been working with Kanye,” he recently told DJ Whoo Kid. “He drops gems on you, he don’t even know. Like he’s just talking and he’s dropping gems. I’m not gonna say I switched my style as of now, but of course Kanye helped my style in general. He already helped my style from the rip.”
LUV is Rage 2 is coming soon. Be ready to rock.
