Lil Uzi Vert and NBA Legend Dennis Rodman Plan to Collab on New Track
It looks like Dennis Rodman is really serious about this music thing. Now he's set his sights on a feature from Lil Uzi Vert.
The retired NBA All-Star reached out to Uzi about getting in the lab together in a text conversation revealed by The Worm on Friday (Dec. 21). In it, Rodman initiates the talks with a "Hi" and waving hand emoji.
The "New Patek" rapper follows with "WYD featuring me," to which Rodman asserts, "Let's collab."
Uzi is game, replying, "I'm ready."
Rodman previously reached out to Kanye West about doing some music together back in August. "What's up Kanye, this is D. Rod here," he said in a video posted to Twitter. "Over here at Newport Beach, man. Thanks a lot for the shout out with that jersey, man. Love your work, love your style, love your wife, your kids are beautiful."
He added, "Hey man, I thought about something. Let's me and you do a track together, man. About world peace, about leaders of love, baby. Leaders of love. You're one. I'm one. Let's get together, baby, and do this right."
It is unclear if Kanye, who previously showed adoration for the enigmatic hooper, ever followed up. Uzi definitely seems game, though.
