Lil Scrappy is not letting a car accident slow down his musical resurgence. Three weeks after crashing his Mercedes and landing in the hospital, the "No Problem" rapper is back with a new single titled "MJ."

Produced by Scrappy's Love & Hip Hop Atlanta castmate Stevie J, the track pays homage to Michael Jackson in the form of punchlines and flexes riffing on the King of Pop's trademarks, served over a respectable crunk refresh built around slamming piano chords.

"Moonwalk like I'm MJ/White glove are you OK/Lean on 'em like I'm MJ/No drip drop with the Moët," Scrappy opens the first verse.

According to a press release, Scrappy plans to follow up his new project Confident with a full-length titled Grown, produced entirely by Stevie with live instruments. The Atlanta rapper sees the collaboration as an opportunity to revisit his roots.

"Our focus was just to make great music without distractions.  You won’t hear a reference to LHHATL," he said. "It’s important to me to give the fans what they’ve been waiting for and this project takes me back to my core."

It's unclear when the project will drop. In the meantime, Scrappy is still managing the fallout of his crash, which landed his passenger Ca$ino Roulette in an intensive care unit for three days. Roulette recently hired a lawyer to help recoup his medical bills.
