Lil’ Kim Walks Boxer Deontay Wilder to the Ring While Performing Her New Song “Spicy”
In footage of the event, the petite spitta belts out the lines to the new track, while surrounded by security, with Wilder in tow. This joint sounds official. "Time to keep it cool, that's what the wrist say/Don't be a fool, that's what the fist say (woo)," she raps. "I'm crushin' these bitches like it's a Wednesday/Skrt skrt, that what the Wraith do/Inside whited out, I just erased you/Outside all black, it's biracial/I'm married to the money and I'm so faithful."
The song is off her upcoming project, LK5.
Earlier today (March 4), the "Took Us a Break" rapper added video of the ring jaunt on her Instagram page. "Just walked out my boy, boxer and heavy weight champion of the world @bronzebomber while I introduced my new track SPICY ft @myfabolouslife!!!" she captioned the clip. "Available everywhere go cop that‼️"
Wilder is every bit the hip-hop fan. In his November bout against Bermane Stiverne, 50 Cent walked him out performing "Many Men." The boxer is not bad with the bars himself. XXL recently spoke with the undefeated heavyweight about his rapping skills.
"We [freestyle rap] all the time, man," he said. "Chillin' with the boys, vibing and all of a sudden you hear a fire-ass beat. We do it in the gym, at home—it's nothing like letting people know what's on your mental. But I tell people all the time that even when I speak—whether it's in a small crowd or big crowd—I don't use my mind. I use my heart. And I let my mouth be the translator to what my heart tells me. So if I'm being put on the spot, if I'm speaking from my heart, then you gotta know it's real what I'm telling you."
In case you were wondering, Wilder TKO'd Ortiz to retain his title in a brutal match.
