Lil Durk, Booka 600, Doodie Lo and OTF Ikey Connect on New Song “Play Your Role”

Lil Durk is gearing up for the release of his Only The Family label debut by dropping off "Play Your Role” featuring OTF cohorts Booka 600, Doodie Lo and OTF Ikey.

The Sonic and 808Chase-produced record finds the Chi-town spitters keeping the family close as they rattle off grizzly rhymes. Over the booming 808s, each OTF member emphasizes the importance of tradition and order when dabbling in the street life. Anchored by Durk's infectious hook, Booka 600 kicks off the song with a fiery verse. "Go play your role, but don't play with me/We play for keeps, game play with keys," he spits.

Doodie Lo follows suit as he rhymes about his militant squad. "My gang too official/Say fuck it we don't need no niggas/Free the guys out the system/OTF we them niggas," he raps. OTF Ikey echoes the same sentiment as he spits, "Don't want no lames around me that be faking with me/I be with my gang forever they be with me."

In the accompanying video, directed by MI Visuals, all four MCs are seen counting cash in a neon lit room as they plot on dominating the rap game. The visual further displays their undeniable chemistry and camaraderie. "Play Your Role" is the first single off the group's forthcoming Only the Family Involved Vol. 1 project.

The tape marks a debut for the Only The Family (OTF) label, backed by Lil Durk. The project is expected to arrive on Tuesday, July 31, and will feature OTF signees including Booka 600, Yung Tory, OTF Ikey and Doodie Lo.
