Lil Durk has announced the release of his new album Love Songs 4 the Streets 2, and on Tuesday (July 9), he dropped off "Like That," which is the first single from the project.

With its fast-paced instrumental and grizzled lyrics, "Like That" has the classic Chicago drill sound and it features Durk's OTF collaborator, King Von. On the track, the pair let loose bars laced with their signature grit. "Ain't no peace treaty with the opps, don't call my phone 'cause I ain't the one," Durk raps on the track.

Von echoes Durk's sentiments as he spits about his commitment to the block. "Where I'm from you better not tell/Where I'm from it's dead or in jail," Von raps.

In a statement, Durk gave a little insight into the new album. “I made LS4TS2 for women, my day one’s, the trenches, and all those that doubted me,” he said.

News of the forthcoming album comes amid Durk's legal drama. The rapper is currently out of jail on $250,000 bond. He faces five felony charges for a shooting that went down back in February. Von was arrested for similar charges and both were released from jail a few weeks back. Durk maintains his innocence.
