Latasha Alcindor (a.k.a. L.A.) releases the new video for “Ol’ BK Soul” featuring Radamiz. “Ol’ BK Soul” is off her newest album Teen Nite at Empire. The Kidz ‘r EViL-directed video follows Alcindor around Brooklyn and documents nostalgic memories in her hometown. L.A. says the song is the backbone of the album.

“My whole album Teen Nite at Empire is a raw femme perspective through my memory of Brooklyn before the gentrification and changes. ‘Ol' BK Soul’ is the thesis of the album and Radamiz added a balance of storytelling," says Latasha Alcindor about the track.

Teen Nite at Empire was released back in June. The 13-track LP features guest appearances from only Radamiz and Nikki T. Latasha Alcindor's story of becoming a rapper is a unique one. NBC Left Field did a mini documentary, which focused on her transition from being in the financial industry to becoming a full time rapper.
