Evanston, Ill. artists Kweku Collins is back with new music. He links up with Chicago rapper Femdot for a track titled "Home Tree."

The melodic record is fantastic, with Kweku showing off his versatility and lyricism. "The enemy's on the move/Some dressed in wool/We all know what they want/Comin for Home Tree," he raps.

The song follows up Collins' fantastic The Grey, which dropped in May. The EP was released through Closed Sessions, the same label that is the home for budding stars like Jamila Woods and WebsterX.

To go along with the new song, Kweku will be doing shows on the East Coast starting this week. He'll be in Washington D.C. on Dec. 7, New York on Dec. 8 and Philadelphia on Dec. 9.

XXL spoke to Kweku Collins about his goals in music.

“I just want to make a career out of this for decades until I’m done. I don’t really have goals on what I want the music to do or what I want to say," he explained "I got things I want to say and I got things that I need to say but ultimately it’s never up to me. It’s really up to the people. So I want people to take what they can from my music. There’s plenty of room for all of us to be out here and to shine."
