Kodak Black may be behind bars but that doesn't mean the Florida rapper is putting his music on hold.

According to producer Dyryk, the "Roll in Peace" rapper is recording verses over the phone while he's locked up. "@kodakblack Recorded a couple verses over the phone yesterday got me ready," the producer wrote on Instagram on Tuesday (April 3). "About to smack all of ya'll with another Stay Tuned."

Kodak's work ethic should come as no surprise for those who have been following his career. Shortly after his arrest in January, the rapper dropped his Heartbreak Kodak album.

The "Tunnel Vision" artist is currently being held without bond after a Jan. 18 arrest. Kodak has pleaded not guilty to possession of ammunition and 95 grams of marijuana. The rapper was also sentenced to 30 days in solitary confinement but was eventually released early.

Along with working on new music, Kodak is also trying to better himself while in jail. According to a recent report, a judge granted the rapper access to a tutor, so he can get help preparing for his GED test. His legal team has also requested that he have access to a computer to study.

In related Kodak news, the rapper's "Codeine Dreaming" collaboration with Lil Wayne was recently certified gold. The gold certification is just the latest plaque for Kodak who has seen his songs "Horses," "Tunnel Vision" and "There He Go" all earn gold and platinum plaques.
