They say that good things come to those who wait, and that just might be the case for Kid Cudi's fans. On Tuesday (Oct. 23), the rapper shared on Twitter that he is working on a new album that is expected to drop sometime next year.

When the "Surfin'" rapper was asked by a fan on Twitter if he will be delivering new music soon, Cudi replied that a new album is in the works.

"I just started the new album!" Cudi tweeted. "Taking my time w it tho but im thinkin next year sometime? Would that be cool? Huh? Tell me? Would that be ok?"

Although the MC admits that he will be taking his time to create his forthcoming LP, he also shared that he will give his fans music with "tasty features" to hold them over.

"Got some tasty features comin out soon in the meantime," he tweeted.

In addition to this announcement, Cudder has been staying busy. He recently made a guest appearance on Quavo's debut album, Quavo Huncho, on the outro track "Lost."

Four months prior, Cudi teamed up with Kanye West for their first joint project, Kids See Ghosts, which features seven tracks and guest appearances from Ty Dolla $ign and Pusha-T.
