A Kevin Gates concert in Corpus Christi, Texas ended in gunfire.

The Louisiana rapper was onstage performing at the Concrete Street Amphitheatre on Saturday night (March 9), when shots rang out outside the venue around 11:30 p.m., reports local news outlet KRISTV. Attendees started to panic and rushed for the exits, which caused Gates' security team to reportedly rush him off the stage in the chaos.

Police were already on the scene and able to determine that the shots were fired from outside the venue, possibly from a neighborhood directly next to where the concert was taking place. No one was injured during the shooting. Video has surfaced from the aftermath of the shooting and it shows concertgoers calmly leaving the venue and walking out into the street. There is a large police presence in the area. According to someone who was at the show there were "fights everywhere."

Gates has been making his rounds out on the touring circuit. His last project Luca Brasi 3 came out last September and features 18 solo tracks. You can catch him on the festival scene this upcoming spring and summer as he preps his new project. He was recently featured on the new Kodie Shane track "Flewed Out."
