As if the title wasn't enough, Kevin Gates is back to prove he's never weary. The Baton Rouge rapper took to Instagram--yes, the same whose history Gates recently purged--to announce the 19-date I Don't Get Tired Tour. It's a whirlwind spin through the South, where Gates was a bankable regional star even before he broke through nationally with 2013's first installment of the Luca Brasi series. The I Don't Get Tired Tour kicks off Feb. 20 in Montgomery, Al., and snakes its way through Gates' favorite sub-Mason-Dixon haunts, wrapping up in Shreveport on Mar. 15 in a fifth consecutive Louisiana date.

Though Gates is one of hip-hop's most disarmingly honest (and best) artists, it's precisely his live show that has landed him in some hot water at press time. Early Sunday (Jan. 25) morning, gunshots rang out at a show in Lexington; Kentucky police are looking for Gates, but reportedly only because he had a clear vantage point from the stage. Unperturbed, the "John Gotti" rapper jumped in the crowd and played three songs for those fans who hadn't fled the venue. No one was killed in the shooting.

Gates's most recent release is Luca Brasi 2The DJ Drama-hosted tape is the fourth major project Gates has released since the top of 2013; along with the Brasis came 2013's Stranger Than Fiction and last year's By Any Means.
